Auto-shoeing : The tip turned 90 ° slides into the mouth (soft tissue) to always come at the level of the lips. So by tilting at the corner of the mouth, all the forces of the line and the fish are conjugated on the tip, which makes it possible to pierce the most powerful jaws.
Note that to achieve this auto-shoeing, the brake will have to be adjusted quite hard. It is also important to point out that shoeing is practically useless or even inadvisable.
A better release: Taken at the corner of the mouth (and not in the stomach or throat), the fish can be released with very high chances of survival (catch and release)
A better catch : While a classic hook can be pricked in soft tissues, the position at the mouth provides a much better grip and therefore fewer stalls. In addition its almost closed shape is that once stung, the hook does not slip.
