Crankbait are lures stocky. They are fast-tracking lures for large bodies of water. Depending on the size of the lip, they will swim in open water (small lip) or a little more towards the bottom (large lip).
The large lip allows the crank to avoid the hooks on the bottom by coming to hit the pebbles, which keeps the hooks up.
At launch, a linear recovery allows the crankbait to get into swimming action very quickly and stay well in line with the line, and suddenly, these lures are also often used in trolling.
The profile, the swimming and sometimes the rattles, trigger many attacks of predators!
