There are two categories of jigs: jigs cast and vertical jigs.
They are metal lures with different sizes, shapes, and weights.
They are differentiated by their uses, the castings jigs are working on the surface in casting and the vertical jigs are worked on all the column of water, by movements of rod more or less fast and varied (jigging).
Generaly the casting jigs are smaller, lighter and allow to cast with precision.
The vertical jigs are bigger and heavier to reach several tens of meters below the surface.
