The animation of the rubbers jigs and chatterbaits consists essentially of draws from 0.50 to 1m approximately followed by released.
For the chatterbait, the blade stumbles on the water and begins to wiggle frantically under the effect of the drawn rod high.
The rubber remains more discreet and less noisy.
On will rather use a chatterbait when the fish is hiding and conversely a jig rubber when the fish is in sight.
In long cast, a linear reduction is also very effective, with again frequent releases.
All animations are possible but it is in the short and medium distance that rubber jig fishing and chatterbait gives the best of itself.
